About us

Unipain is a product of BVBA Commeyne. It was founded by the Gebroeders Commeyne in Moorsele in 1958. Back then, they mainly focused on dairy products. During that time, COMMEYNE was a wholesale platform for distribution to milkmen. The rise of supermarkets caused the company to gradually shift its focus, leading to its bake-off products. This specialisation was started and expanded under the leadership of Christ Commeyne. In 2002, the company was taken over. It diversified and further specialised in the frozen foods sector and they expanded the company both nationally and internationally. In 2019 it was taken over by Sébastien Vincke and Isabelle Staelens.
